Sculpture and Pie

I went to the Bert Flugelman exhibition today with #1 son. I was going to go to the opening but missed that, but wanted to not miss it overall. It is very good indeed. Above is a work entitled Wrath of God.

Another effing pie (blueberry and apple), god I am sick of them now that I am supposed to be making them, for some obscure blog related exercise. If interested, for the next few days I will be eating plain rice.

I feel you need some inspiration. It's hard being all on your own. The history of pies is very interesting. Try this book:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Book-Old-Tarts-Elizabeth-Hodder/dp/074723034X/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1235844247&sr=8-2

and this one too:

Yes, I admit it. I have a large collection of pie books. I can recommend more but you might be suffering a surfeit.
